Okay so the title is a bit misleading but i didn't know what else to call it. :) This was my #ootd on Saturday. I usually throw an outift together around a specific item I want to wear and in this case, it was these CUTE SANDALS. I saw these sandals on my friend Tasnim (It looked WAY better on her since she has such cute petite feet) & couldn't resist buying them. I'm not really a fan of buying items owned by a friend because I always have this fear of wearing it at the same time when meeting up but I made the exception this time. Luckily we never met up this weekend because I wore them on sunday too ( Don't judge me lol)

Tracks and a tee

How awesome are these tracks? I got them at urban a little while ago (Totally regretting not taking the navy blue pair) and I can’t get over how comfy and versatile they are. I tried them on with a pair of heels and it actually looks amazing. I can’t wait to blog it! I wouldn’t classify this as a very co-ordinated look but so what? Fashion rules are meant to be broken. That’s what makes it so exciting

I just LOVE this statement necklace. I got it at a market in Bangkok some time last year and I've been obsessed with it ever since.

My ootd on Saturday was thrown together around my bag. My sweet love bought this bag for me at ZARA last weekend because he hates my current work bag and knew I would only stop using it if he replaced it with a new one. <-- Smart move on my part don’t you think? I will be starting a new job in the coming month so a new work bag was well received. This bag is definitely too gorgeous to only be used for work so I figured I would give my Louis a break and take my new bag for a walk. I’ve worn these brogues in my Black & Denim with a sprinkle of lace post and I can’t wait to wear it with the faux leather skirt (sounds better than pleather) I recently bought from Mr Price. Casual coral

This was my ootd on Sunday to adventure golf with my love. The weather kept changing (sunny to overcast) so I decided on a blazer just to be certain. I teamed this blazer up with a coral skinny and a plain white tee to keep the casual theme going. Not one of my best looks so I definitely need to turn things up a notch in future posts :)

I’ve become a bit bored with the odd length of my hair so I’m trying to find new ways of styling it until it grows to a decent length. I pinned it up into a bun in the evening just to change the look up a bit. Got a thumbs up from my Mr but I’m not quite sure how I feel about it.

Girly girl

This was my ootd on Saturday. I felt like looking a bit girly and insisted on wearing these cute wedges that I found at the Sandton side walk sale. I love the little bits of coral detail (I’m a sucker for ALL things coral) and how comfortable these shoes are. They go with almost any day outfit so you will definitely see them feature in future posts. What do you think of the ribbon tied as a bow? I use ribbon whenever I can find a suitable accessory. (Remember my revamped brogues post I did here? Basic ribbon can be a life saver!)

Zara Black and Blue blouse

This was my OOTD that I wore to work yesterday. I love this Zara blouse which I bought on sale last season. I myself under-estimated its potential because I only realised how much I actually liked it after I had worn it. I wore it with the same skinny pants I wore here, it just looks newer because I had it re-dyed. I have become a lot less wasteful with my clothing recently so I prefer giving the items in question a “revamp” before considering giving it away.

I wore the blouse without the cameo brooch but when taking pics, I just felt like that something special was missing. Good addition?

Rocking the daisies at the cricket

Yesterday I went to watch Graeme Smiths 100th test match as the Captain of the Proteas. I was pleasantly surprised at home chilled back it was. People were getting their tan on, reading (I even spotted a lady with her 50 shades of grey lol) and having long debates about everything other than the cricket. I got a bit distracted from the cricket myself and found myself staring at the people around me and ease dropping on some conversations. I find people very interesting when they don't realise anyone is watching. Sounds a bit stalker like but its actually more fun than profile stalking on FB or twitter. Yes, you're not the only one that profile stalks.

I wore my daisy head piece which I have been dying to wear since I bought it. It made a simple shorts and tee look a bit less simple ;)
