I added the statement necklace and my favourite mustard bag (I know I’ve been butchering this bag lately by using it as often as I have been) just to add some colour. Put your cool hat on

Hello there Fashion loving friends

This is what I wore yesterday. I can’t get over this awesome hat that I found at Topshop recently. The minute it lands on my head, I get this sudden urge to pretend that I’m the lead singer in a rock band that wears cool hats. I know joburgers are probably thinking that I’m completely looney to have worn so much black in almost 30 degree heat but I’m an impulsive dresser that rarely cares about the weather LOL

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday

I thought I would do a quick outfit post since I have done one in a while and had a bit of “stolen” time. We’ve been having such amazing winter weather that hasn’t required eskimo attire to shield off the cold, hence the casual flats and jeans look. Thoughts on my flats? I love them. It adds a little “something something” to a relatively plain outfit. I might be a little biased but I definitely think Zara makes the best flats. <-- Spoken like a true Zara addict.

Well hello there!

2 weeks ago I made a huge fuss about blogging 2 days in a row and then I went and disappeared for 2 weeks, ha. I have a valid reason though. My friend Tasnim (aka small baybee lol) got MARRIED & I wanted to focus more on being there for her & less on blogging the festivities as they were happening. Now that the wedding celebrations are all over (BLEH!) I’ve got a backlog of posts to share with you.

Its all in the necklace

 

This was my #ootd yesterday to visit the parentals. I took these pics without wearing the little bit of make up that I usually do wear, hence the very bland face lol. Sometimes my skin just needs a break (especially since I’ve been wearing make up a bit more often than usual lately) and yesterday was the perfect day to rock the “minimalist” look lol

 Do you just love the statement necklace? I went to “browse” the sale section at Lovisa and happened to spot this gorgeous necklace which unfortunately was not on sale. I did the “puppy eyes” thing I usually do when I’m hoping Le husband says “just buy it” which he did of course lol. Gotta love Le husband!

Neon love take 2

 

A pop of neon to make a plain outfit stand out! I found these shoes at the woolies sale for a fraction of the original price... It was the last pair & in my size (I just love it when that happens) This tee once belonged to Le husband but it shrunk in the washing machine and has since been handed down to me. Its slightly to big for me but I’d never say no to a hand me down lol.
