My ootd on Saturday was thrown together around my bag. My sweet love bought this bag for me at ZARA last weekend because he hates my current work bag and knew I would only stop using it if he replaced it with a new one. <-- Smart move on my part don’t you think? I will be starting a new job in the coming month so a new work bag was well received. This bag is definitely too gorgeous to only be used for work so I figured I would give my Louis a break and take my new bag for a walk. I’ve worn these brogues in my Black & Denim with a sprinkle of lace post and I can’t wait to wear it with the faux leather skirt (sounds better than pleather) I recently bought from Mr Price. Black & Denim with a sprinkle of lace

I might sound like a broken record but I love this look. The bright red lips just adds a bit of attitude to this very simple outfit. Don’t you just love these brogues? I almost gave them away because I hadn’t worn them in ages… I replaced the laces with black ribbon and it completely changed the look. I #LOVE them again.

Hey girl with your red dress on

I still haven’t gotten to a stage where I post my outift of the day, on the day I wore it. (Right now I’m in corporate wear… At work <— BLEH!) This is what I wore on saturday. It was ridiculously hot in JHB. Def a day for a summer dress, hence the little red number I was wearing.

Robot dress

On Saturday, I attended my cousins wedding. Choosing an outfit for a wedding can be very easy if the weather plays its part- Just my luck…. It did :)

I wore a fitted purple dress from robot and Tina Lui shoes from zoom (way back when- I don’t even know if this brand still exists lol)

Please excuse the terrible quality of the pictures. I’m still very lazy to use my actual camera and my phone (usually my back up) had a flat battery. I promise I’ll work on improving the quality over the next few blog posts….

Neon Love!

I have never been a very big fan of Neon items until I came across these sandals at zoom. Although its not completely neon, it definitely appeals to me since I have always preferred the subtle approach to incorporating trends. After all, I am a plain Jane :)

Oh, and excuse the critical condition of my toes. We have just escaped winter so my feet are still recovering. #bettergetmypedicureon
